Please read the following carefully.
There is no cost to participate in Zoo View. You do not receive free Zoo admission to record your video for this contest. If you are not a Zoo Pass member, you must pay regular admission to the Milwaukee County Zoo when you come to videotape. Everyone must also pay parking fees, unless you have Zoo Pass Plus! (which includes parking privileges). Videos must be received by Jan. 15, 2013.
Please read carefully. If you do not follow contest rules and regulations, your video will not be considered.
The winning video will be determined by a jury of Zoo and Zoological Society employees, including a video expert. They will base their decisions on such criteria as the following:
To submit your video, complete our submission form. Be sure to include your phone number with area code, city of residence, and preferred e-mail address. Also, tell us how you would like to be recognized on our Web site.
The winners (one from each age group) of Zoo View will be announced approximately one month after the deadline, which is Jan. 15, 2013. The age-13-and-over winner will receive a Basic Zoo Pass, valued at $71 (apply to your own renewal or give as a gift). Zoo Pass allows you free admission (not including parking) to the Milwaukee County Zoo for a year and free or discounted admission to more than 150 zoos or aquariums. The child (ages 7 to 12) winner will receive an animal sponsorship, valued at $70, which includes a plush-toy animal and an invitation to a behind-the-scenes event for animal sponsors in August 2013. The winning videos also will be displayed on the Zoo’s entrance atrium’s largest video screen—credited to you. What’s more, the video may also be used in a Zoological Society public service announcement that ends up on TV!
